Durham, NC is full of culinary history and BBQ is no exception. I created this docu-style video for the Durham Convention & Visitors Bureau. Located in downtown Durham, North Carolina. Visiting several iconic BBQ joints around town to conduct interviews with historic restaurants and those who celebrate the culture of BBQ.
Had the extraordinary honor of filming Dana and Zane Gray’s wedding at the Abilena Plantation in beautiful New Bern, NC. The entire experience was beautiful to say the least. Including the awesome location right on the sound. (See more wedding videos.)

In November of 2015 I joined UpLiftd’s assistant executive director Nicole Walker and her cleanup crew in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. On the night of the final Louisiana State University home football game of the season. The goal of the cleanup is to meet at 3AM the morning after the prior day’s game and clean the entire campus of LSU. Many have referred to this seldom seen process as both magical and rapid.
This was a short recruitment video that I created for the Art Education department at East Carolina University. Our goal was to spark interest with potential high schoolers wanting to major in the Art Education concentration.
Recently I had the opportunity to volunteer my services as a filmmaker to the Pitt County Animal Shelter through the making of this promotional video. I strongly believe that no matter what your unique skill sets are you always have something to offer as a volunteer. I really loved making every second of this video for the shelter. Official IndieGoGo fundraising video for Son of Clowns. Created official IndieGoGo fundraising video for SON OF CLOWNS. Video created to reach a goal of $1500 to tour the film festival circuit and gain distribution for the film.
Worked with and created winning candidate Sig Hutchinson’s entire video campaign for the 2014 election. All videos were created with a strict no attack ad policy. Created are five 30 second videos, and five 10 second videos, each on separate issues of Sig’s platform. The full campaign can be seen here. Sig also won the seat of Wake County Commissioner in November 2014!
In November of 2016, UpLiftd hosted a toy drive to help heal a community affected by the monumentally devastating 2016 floods in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Created for the Bennett Place 150th Anniversary on site in Durham, NC. This short documentary portrait tells the story of Bennett Place and it’s role in officially ending the Civil War.
Official IndieGoGo fundraising video for Displacement Welcomed. Showcasing interviews with the stars of the film Avery Hobbs and April Vickery as well as director Evan Kidd. A goal of of $1000 was successfully passed during the fundraising of this campaign for the plan film to submit to film festivals and tour the circuit. All contributors received perks ranging from DVDs to posters and producer credits in the film.
This video showcases the 75th anniversary of the Miss North Carolina Scholarship Pageant and the rich history of the program. Arlie Honeycutt, Miss North Carolina 2012 shares her experiences within the program, the recent Miss NC exhibit at the North Carolina Museum of History, and her experience serving as a state titleholder.
